If I could bottle up all the magic ingredients that I think you need for an amazing day then Kirsty & Damian could sell their magic potion and make big bucks. This one was special, an absolute zinger. The Night Yard is a fantastic wedding venue in Kent, particularly in Autumn time as the apples glow bright red and the long grass starts to topple over and glow all golden as the sun goes down.
It’s been a venue that has alluded us for a little while but our first time as a Night Yard Wedding Photographer didn’t disappoint. Styled impeccably by the awesome team at Locate To Create it had an effortless cool. Much like the two stars of the show: Kirsty & Damian.
Boy oh boy, some couples positively fizz with electricity. They crackle and being close to them gives you an energy to just shoot, shoot, shoot in every direction as happy, joy filled frames happen all around you every second.
So much love, so much energy. We’ve said this a million times but people who are happy to be happy, people who don’t overthink things and just let themselves go wild are our kind of people. A huge shoutout to the superb team at The Night Yard, and to Harriet Rainbow on Makeup duties but especially to our main man Russell Kent Nicholls, who in one day became our favourite videographer in Kent, hilariously funny, outrageously talented and an easy recommendation if you’re looking for someone who can create a film that compliments our photos perfectly.
Back to Kirsty & Damian, your love for each other, your heart on your sleeve nature, just blew us away. From the minute we arrived until the last beat that we had to force ourselves to head home you made us part of your day and we just can’t thank you enough.
