It’s been a pretty cool weekend. Two shoots, one location, two brilliant couples. First up on the blog this week are Clare and Andy who are getting married a little later this summer at Sherbourne House. Their Engagement Shoot at the Custard Factory brought lots of big big laughs and smiles, I know they were both a little nervous before hand but it didn’t show one bit!
Engagement photography is all about having some fun, mucking around and not taking things too seriously and getting used to having your photograph taken, so that on the big day itself you feel completely comfortable.
Doing an Engagement Shoot at The Custard Factory is also an absolute treat for a photographer. There’s a whole heap of colour along with interesting shapes and textures everywhere along with a very Bohemian feel to the place. It’s just quite a cool place to go and hang out, have a coffee and people watch for the afternoon!
I finished up editing last night and sent the photos off to Clare and Andy to see. First thing this morning I got a really nice email from Clare which made me smile, it was a nice way to kick the week off:
“Thank you so much for turning these around so quickly. We really love them! And we enjoyed the shoot way more than we thought we would – we both hate having our photos taken but we felt at ease on Saturday and I am really looking forward to the photos on the big day now!”
Roll on the wedding day…..
Super cute shots of a super lovey-dovey couple! :)

Great location, love the last frame with them sitting on the bench. You’ve done a great job at capturing their vibe, well done.
