“We are just lost for words, these are the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. The way you managed to capture the day is just breathtaking. The slideshow is perfect and really tells a story, it’s like reliving the day all over again. Out of this world – thank you.”
A few previews for you all today from my first time as The Clock Barn Wedding Photographer for Carly and Sean last week. The Clock Barn is a stunning venue for a wedding in Whitchurch, near Winchester in Hampshire with perfectly manicured gardens and rolling fields in every direction. The barn itself is fantastic, a lot of barns can be quite dark but The Clock Barn has large windows and doors around the edges making the light pour in wonderfully. Combined with twinkly fairy lights adorning all of the beams and pillars its completely charming.
I’ve said it so many times before that it’s really a cliche now but people make a wedding. More than anything else, more than details, more than a setting, it’s you, your friends and loved ones and being open to being emotional and throwing yourself into all the madness of a wedding day that results in brilliant, honest pictures that tell the story of your day.
With that in mine my favourite frame of this little mini collection is a brief kiss on the hand during the ceremony. It happened in the blink of an eye, at no particular moment of occasion, it just happened. It was spontaneous and completely perfect. It’s these moments that I absolutely live for when picking up my camera. Likewise, when guests rush off to the far field to play an impromptu game of Rounders, I love this stuff.
Anyway, as per usual I’m waffling on and should let the pictures do the talking. To Carly & Sean, a huge thank you and congratulations. Lastly and before I forget, another massive thank you to the brilliant in house team at Galloping Gourmet for their food and hospitality, Kat and team were absolute superstars!
Here’s a little flavour of Carly & Seans day…
