Orchard Weddings In Kent

Morning all! I hope you’re having a cracking bank holiday weekend, hopefully you’re reading this next to the Sunday papers with a mug of tea in your hand. Kent Wedding Photography for me immediately makes me think of growing up in Kent surrounded by fruit orchards and fields of corn everywhere.

I was pretty lucky to grow up in a little village called Wateringbury and me, my folks and my little sister would walk over the fields and through the little coppice covered in bluebells to the fruit orchards most weekends. This wedding took place less than five miles from my folks place and right in amongst those orchards.

Rosie & Matt seem to live their lives immersed in this county as well. With Rosie working for a fruit company and Matt working as a tree surgeon they’re far more used to getting their hands dirty than I’ll ever be! At times it was wet, most of the time it was windy and occasionally, just very occasionally the sun broke through. This is the story of their day….

We got a slight break in the rain to hurry down to the orchards and bluebells in Matt’s Landrover. Jumping out every hundred metres to dart in amongst all of the gorgeous blossom.

Just for the record, Matt’s the best groom I’ve ever seen take to the stage to drum at the end of his wedding day too….
