More good news here at Jackson & Co HQ this week as it was announced that we’d picked up another two awards in the latest round of Masters Of Wedding Photography. Every time this happens it blows us away and is very humbling. The amount of entries are high and the standard of the competition even higher. It’s always amazing to win awards and to see other friends and photographers recognised as well, it’s a great feeling all around.
Both of these frames are from last summer. First, a mad dash across a muddy corn field as a rainbow took shape for Amy & Alasdhair (completely worth laying in the mud for and looking a mess for the rest of the day) and below one of the most touching frames I know either of us have ever shot. Finley taking a very deep breath and trying to hold it together waiting for Jenny to join him at the front of the aisle. We knew the light was beautiful before this shot happened but you never know how emotional this moment is going to be. As it turned out, very. Hannah absolutely nailed this shot and it’s always been one of our favourites.
I’m not quite sure where that puts us this year overall but it’s up the top end of the table somewhere and keeps us in the running this year to make it a hat trick of placings with the Top Ten Wedding Photographers as we have been this year and last.
If you’re looking for an award winning wedding photographer in Kent or London then drop us an enquiry and let’s chat. Availability is disappearing right now for 2019 but we still have a small handful of peak summer dates available to book. Lets chat!
