I know I say this a lot but I really do love this job, it’s just awesome. Still on a high from Emily & Colin’s wedding the day before I travelled down to the coast to meet Kieran & Vinita for their Engagement Shoot at the Beach in Broadstairs.
Although there were still a few stragglers soaking up the last few rays of the evening sun most of the bucket’s and spades and disposable BBQ’s had gone by this point, they’d probably gone home to apply some much needed After Sun.
So we had the beach to ourselves pretty much. This whole session was probably no longer than 40 minutes, if that, but when the lights as pretty as it was just then you don’t really need any longer. An Engagement Shoot at the Beach is a great location to make some pictures at sunset and after a few minutes you kind of forget where you are and just pretend that you’re on some Californian sand instead.
Kieran and Vinita have been together for 10 years already since they met at university and the were just an absolute treat to photograph. Completely relaxed and at ease with one another and happy to muck around and not take it too seriously either.
I’ve got another session to come in Greenwich with these two in a few weeks before their wedding at Fetcham Park this summer. It’s safe to say they will be hitting the blog a few times this year!
