Ok so you’ve already met these two once before for their portrait shoot at the beach earlier this summer but here they are again! Vinita contacted me about adding an additional shoot on so that they could kind of recreate their first date with a picnic in the park where they first met at university. So armed with cake, champagne and a tartan blanket we headed up the hill for their Greenwich Park Engagement Shoot.
I love these two because there is so much attention to detail and yet Vinita is far far far from a Bridezilla. We joked about it that evening and I think its fantastic that she’s just thoroughly enjoying planning her wedding day and is really chilled out and relaxed about the whole thing. They get married in just over six weeks time at the beautiful Fetcham Park in Surrey and it just can’t come soon enough.
We were blessed with some pretty gorgeous light that night and the view from the top of Greenwich Park is one that’s pretty hard to beat anywhere in the world. Watching the sun sink over London and being in the company of these two was a fantastic way to spend any evening.
In fact, we enjoyed it a bit too much. We mucked around, strolled through the Naval College and chatted away for so long that we lost track of time and Kieran got his car locked in the park and I ended up driving them all the way back home to Canterbury. It was totally worth it though!
Here’s a small handful of frames from that night for you…
