Hello everyone! It feels like ages since I blogged but this year has just been crazy busy so far and I’ve made very little time for blogging. But the wait is over! Today it’s Jenny & Jamies turn on the blog with their wedding at The Georgian Rectory.

This is pretty much everything that we could ever want from a wedding. We absolutely love to shoot gorgeous, stylish weddings and although we’re never motivated by the latest trends and fashions in how we shoot when you get the perfect blend of a bride and groom who are happy to be happy plus incredible styling it makes us very very happy photographers! Happy people, smiling and laughing and celebrating with their friends and going a little bananas in the evening with their guests is pretty much all we ever want to shoot. I like to think we’ll always shoot like this and that the moments that we photograph will have enormous longevity and mean more and more to our couples with each passing year.

This wedding had style oozing from every stitch of thread from the beautifully simple wedding dress to Jamie’s effortless tweed jacket and waistcoat. We were lucky enough to have some time with Jenny & Jamie to head down to the lake away from the guests late that afternoon and take some time out to make some beautiful portraits that are amongst my favourites ever.

Elsewhere, the Tipi’s looked perfect in the grounds of the Georgian Rectory, they were decorated perfectly and any wedding that has a Bloody Mary station gets the thumbs up from us. Once the evening light faded and the fairy lights came up it turned into one of the very best parties we’ve ever been able to photograph.

From Jenny & Jamie being hoisted onto shoulders to one of the Ushers trousers ripping louder than the speakers it was a complete blast. The Georgian Rectory is a brilliant, hidden jewel of a venue as well. We’d never shot here before but it’s got everything you could ever want for a laid back, chilled out party wedding and we’d love to go back sometime.
