“We can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed looking at those. They are SO good. Harriet says we have to look at the full slideshow every night for the next month at least!”
I’ve been The Bell In Ticehurst Wedding Photographer for several couples over the past years and it consistently amazes me just how each and every wedding is fantastic, laid back and focussed on the things that matter the most. Harriet and Ryan got married back at the start of July and I’ve just delivered their photos to them and I couldn’t wait to blog it.
Often I’ve shot here in the Autumn and Winter as its a cosy venue perfectly suited to a winter wedding but Harriet & Ryans day couldn’t have been further from that. Blazing hot summer sunshine meant everyone made the most of the gardens and we even got to hop in the car later that afternoon and go and explore the countryside around Ticehurst to create some cool portraits for the two of them.
Their wedding had everything that I love and value in a celebration. Loads of emotion, plenty of humour and seriously tasty canapés! Im only half kidding about that last one, the mini scotch eggs that the chef makes are out of this world.
Ryan’s an incredible photographer himself so there was a little healthy pressure on Hannah and I to do the very best we could and even more to create something original from a venue that we’ve shot lots and lots in the past. I think we managed it! A massive thank you to the ever amazing team at The Bell in Ticehurst along with Katherine at Florist In The Forest who outdid herself this time with the interior decorations.
Here’s a little look at a few highlights from there day…
