Jackson & Co Photography | Nether Winchendon House Wedding Photographer
Earlier this spring I got to spend the day with Gareth & Manju as their Nether Winchendon House Wedding Photographer. We had rain, we had snow, we had blasts of sunshine and we had a whole heap of heart on the sleeve emotion. It really was a cracking day. I’d been here once before several seasons ago so it was terrific to come back and see it with fresh eyes for a truly one in a million, unique wedding.
Nether Winchendon House is one of the most stunning country houses nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside with incredible gardens and grounds that roll all the way down to the river at the bottom of the garden. Gareth & Manju began the day with a ceremony nearby conducted by their good friend and priest who had come along for the day and who was one the most relaxed officiants I’ve ever come across – more like him please!
Following the ceremony the rain poured down and huddled under hooded coats and soggy umbrellas the whole congregation raced back to Nether Winchendon House. Fortunately, it didn’t last long and we were treated to some crisp spring sunshine that afternoon. Anyway, enough about the weather! The very best bit, the highlight that will stay with me forever and ever was Gareths incredible rendition of Gregory Porters In Real Good Hands accompanied by a four piece jazz band. A complete shock and surprise to Manju and everyone else there and a moment that led to some of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever had the privilege to be close to.
Here’s a few choice frames from their day…
