Jackson & Co Photography |Â East Quay Venue Wedding Photographer
So yesterday I got to be Nicole & Luke’s East Quay Venue Wedding Photographer which was frankly awesome. I’ve been to the Lobster Shack once before a couple of years ago and loved it and yesterday just confirmed my opinion that this place is one of the coolest and loveliest places to get married in Kent.
Sat right on the Whitstable seafront with pebbles underfoot and mountains of local Oysters piled up to the sides of the venue the East Quay Venue is truly unique. With barrels of beer, surfboards mounted on timbers and fishing nets and boats dotted all around it’s unlike any other wedding venue in the area and completely brilliant. It really has got it all. Views out over the sea: check. Brilliant, friendly staff: Check. Guaranteed sunshine gleaming off the beach huts: well it’s not guaranteed but every time I’ve been here I’ve been treated to fantastic weather so I’ll take that. Check!
I’ve been looking forward to this one for awhile. Nicole and Luke are two of life happy people and I could tell immediately when I arrived how excited Nicole was. I also managed to grab a few minutes to drive down to see what the guys were doing where there was arguably more hairspray in the air than there was at the brides house!
These a few of my favourite frames from the day and if anyone is considering the East Quay Venue for their wedding then don’t hesitate.
