“The photos are beyond what we imagined”
I’ve managed to find a little time this week to catch up on some much overdue blogging and revisit some of my favourite weddings of the year so far. Two blog posts in one week is something I’ve not done for ages and it feels nice! Today its Claire & Alastair and my first experience as a Nonsuch Mansion wedding Photographer.
What a great day. Easy going, funny people who were giddy with excitement and had real love for not only each other but their families and those closest to them. Claire’s relationship with her Grandmas genuinely had me welling up at how sweet it was and its on days like this that we love being wedding photographers the most.
Nonsuch Mansion is our kind of venue. It’s got gorgeous grounds, stunning wisteria and a beautiful exterior but once you’re inside, wow, the light is just the stuff of photography dreams. High windows and archways throwing soft, flattering light onto people, sensational ceremony and dining rooms. It’s quickly become one of our favourite local venues and somewhere we’d love to shoot more weddings.
I’m not going to say too much more, I think the story of their day unfolds pretty nicely below but to Claire & Alastair thank you so so much, you made Hannah and I incredibly welcome and you’ve got terrific families and friends around you. We had the best time.
Here’s a big selection of favourites from their day…
