Back Garden Wedding | Claire & Simon

Rally Car Wedding

So it’s a snoozy Sunday afternoon, we’re relaxing at Hannahs Mum’s house after an enormous roast dinner and Lemon Meringue and Im putting this together from the sofa whilst George is having forty winks. Good times! Im still reflecting on how much fun yesterday was. We’ve done plenty of weddings at home over the years but never quite like this, never quite literally in the back garden a stones throw from the back door. It should go without saying that a Back Garden Wedding is a wondrous thing!

Claire & Simon are super lovely people with a beautiful home in the East Riding Of Yorkshire that from the top of the hill looks out in every direction over the countryside. The Church was almost within touching distance of the house and although it was a gloomy, drizzly day these guys just blasted all of that away with an abundance of colour, humour and love from within the Papkata Sperry Tent that had been erected in their back garden.

Things that more weddings should have in no particular order:

  • Rally Cars.
  • Hungry German Shepherds.
  • Cardboard Cutout Bridesmaids that couldn’t make it.

A blooming great day with blooming great people. Have a great Sunday everyone, we hope this makes you smile from ear to ear.
