Jamaican weddings rock. Seriously. It’s on days like these that you just can’t help but feel that being a
London Wedding Photographer is the best job in the world!
Raymond & Chelena are about as cool as it gets. When I pulled up at the hotel that morning I was so excited. Raymond and his boys were getting ready in a gorgeous London hotel. Music pumping out of the iPod doc, cool little mini Converse trainers for his boys, a bottle of Jack, dark shades and killer shoes. These boys had the lot. Easily one of the best and funniest morning sessions that I’ve ever had.
Being a London Wedding Photographer often means getting roped in to all sorts of other little jobs throughout the day. Button holes and car ribbons are pretty much the norm and Bowties are a skill you need to know! Watching Raymonds best man doing up each of their ties in turn was hilarious but not as funny as watching them all try to work out how to put the ribbons on the car!
Raymond and Chelena were married at Grove House set inside Roehampton University in London on the hottest day of the year. A real scorcher, sweltering heat, it could almost have been Jamaica! As a London Wedding Photographer I often end up slightly further afield but I felt like I really could’ve been all the way into the Caribbean for this one! Guinness Punch is something I won’t forget in a hurry either!
Sharp suits, dark glasses, Jerk Chicken, loud steel drums and kids in three piece suits with bow ties all add up to one of the best weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph.
